Clean Water

Recently, the cleanest water on Earth was found in a small town in central Ontario. Don't worry, it will stay clean now that a garbage dump will be built on it. I don't make this stuff up.

Speaking of clean water, or at least the thought of it, the Great Lakes compact is waiting for approval in Ohio. This treaty, if you will, is designed to prevent massive water diversions and create a management program for the Great Lakes Basin. I haven't read to much about it and don't have the details but it sounds like a good starting point and seems like sustaining the water supply is the goal. We'll see what happens.
