What does Organic Mean?

I have written many times about organic food and the confusion I have encountered with what it means. Yesterday I read about what it doesn't mean courtesy of The Business Ethics Blog. While many of us may like organic produce and think it stands for something we better be careful. It doesn't mean all the wonderful things we want it to but we project that image onto it and maybe think it has more value than it does. It is remarkable that without any specific marketing to that end that organic has become synonymous with "good in every way". As usual, buyer beware.
