Electric Cars HItting the Streets?!?! Maybe...
Recently, the Canadian province of Ontario agreed to examine the regulations that prevent low-speed electric cars from being on the road. This is a big breakthrough as it is the most populous province. Currently, they are not allowed on the road in Ontario for safety reasons. The odd thing about that is the ZENN was developed in Ontario. Talk about supporting local businesses and the environment. But it looks like things will not be getting any greener in Canada. The government has said they will not commit to lower GHG targets at climate meetings this week. It is beginning to look like political expediency is the only thing that is relevant and not real action on the environment or developing a green economy.
