The only thing we can do is spread the word and contribute positively to the world. It is inevitable that we will all leave some mark on the environment. If we make an effort to minimize it that is the best we can do right now. Don't lose sight of what is important to you. Usually people who stand for anything are ridiculed but they can still make a difference.

i missed that, did they say it was in a delta?

it reminds me so much of new orleans...a land that is not so much sinking as it is not growing.

the control of our river and water ways have severely impacted their natural flood and deposition cycles.

we are living in an age of environmental collapse. as we hear more and more about people being impacted by these events, the more each of us will realize we need to do what little we can, however we can and slowly, each little change will grow into better and more
