Sweden is the world leader in addressing climate change. Canada is at the bottom of the list. Looks like the made in Canada solution is working to keep us two spots ahead of the United States, which has 10 times the population and is the world's largest greenhouse gas emitter.
Not only does Canada not have a climate change policy, but huge amounts of climate changing gases are released harvesting the tar sands and then utilizing the end product. Combined with the water used and the open pit mining style of getting at the tar sands and the environmental impact is huge.
