The link is real

The Canadian fisheries minister has accepted a link between climate change and declining fish stocks, in reaction to the study released last week. Unfortunately, a moratorium on bottom trawling has not been supported. Bottom trawling is a controversial fishing practice that the UN is trying to impose a moratorium on to minimize damage to the sea floor and reduce overfishing.

It is odd to see how one study can alter policy directions and another one cannot. Both of these issues are equally serious and have similar impacts on the fish stocks.
