It is old news now that Joe Biden is the running mate for Barack Obama. Some people may be wondering what his environmental stance is. Grist has provided a good summary of it.
Any political campaign will be loaded with spin and speeches about anything you want to hear. The reality is that for significant change to take place the population needs to be really fed up. It obviously has not become so bad if in Alaska a Senate candidate, who has been federally indicted, (for allegedly not disclosing that he received $250,000 in gifts from oil companies), won the Republican primary. Some things never change but I'm optimistic that they will soon.
