Plasma TVs Draw More Juice from Grid than Plug-In Vehicles
Probably one of the reasons we will have a tough time becoming "sustainable" is our never ending supply of gadgets. Plasma TVs might be great but is it really worth it if it uses more electricity than a car? I doubt it. We need to start valuing everything in a larger scale to see if what we want matches the resources around us and the usefulness of it.

Well, don't own one, don't think that I will ever own one, and I seldom turn on the TV I do own. Don't have cable and only watch movies at times on it.
Hell, I don't even know where that cell phone I bought during a brain fart is.
