Leaching Plastic

I have written before about chemicals in plastic leaching into food and beverages. A new study has shown that exposing the plastic bottles to boiling water increases the leaching of bisphenol-a (BPA). Testing was done on both new and used bottles.

Many people boil their baby bottles to sanitize them. Some people reuse bottles and will transport tea or other hot beverages in them. There are regulations for just about everything. Despite a growing body of study on BPA leaching and effects on the human body nothing is being done. I encourage everyone to contact their elected representatives and ask them what they plan on doing to protect people from everyday products that they think are safe.

Government cannot solve all our problems for us, we must take some responsibility for ourselves.

I agree with you but the reality is government is regulating everything. If the citizenry has the government doing the regulatory function then they have to hold government accountable and have them regulate in their interests. It is likely that BPA is not good for us yet it is everywhere. If they will not be regulating in our interest then they shouldn't be regulating at all.

Ha!!

Government isn't running this country, the capitalists are.

Our government has just become a smoke screen for them.

Be afraid, very afraid.
