More than Borat

Borat seems to be the only thing many North Americans know about Kazakhstan. He's not even real so that is pretty pathetic. In the capital of Kazakhstan, Almaty, tailpipe emissions are creating a lot of air pollution. The country is becoming a major supplier of oil and natural gas so it will be interesting to see if the money earned by the development of resources will help improve the conditions there.
