How much is that nuclear plant in the window?

With electricity shortages on the horizon for residents of Ontario, the nuclear plants that were going to save the day may be a little more expensive than originally projected. These nuclear projects are notorious for cost overruns. Now there are differences of opinion in what to tell the public about how much it will cost. Does it really matter? The cost will be enormous, nobody that is alive today will pay for it and as long as the lights don't go out nobody will notice.
